Chaetodon nippon. Chaetodon nippon is a species of marine angelfish that is also known as the Japanese butterflyfish. It is found in the northwest Pacific Ocean around Japan, South Korea, the Philippines and Taiwan. It has a yellow body with black stripes and a black spot on its dorsal fin¹³. It feeds on coral polyps and other small invertebrates.
