Clarion Angel: Tank Raised

Holocanthus clarionensis. The Clarion Angelfish is one of the most sought after of all fish found in home aquariums. Clarion Angelfish are only found in a tiny area of Mexico off of the Revillagigedo Islands. This rarity is why the Clarion Angelfish carries such a high price tag. Clarion Angels are very rare in the wild, but are not starting to be captive bred with some success. Clarion Angelfish have a mostly bright yellowish orange body with strong electric blue vertical stripes and blue lined fins. As the Clarion Angel ages, it loses most of its blue coloration.
