Clown Fairy Wrasse

Cirrhilabrus solorensis. Also called the Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse. Common in the trade with the males having a red head, a purple crescent shaped mark along the edge of the gill, greenish-blue body sides, and a yellowish to white belly. Small females have a red head, orange-red body and a black spot on the caudal peduncle. However, colors vary greatly depending upon the age of the specimen, collection areas, and breeding timeframes.
