• Shipping Associate Needed

We are seeking individuals that have a good work ethic and a desire for continuous learning. Our Shipping department is an essential part of our operation and they strive for perfection. You will get hands-on training from some of the best in the field. No experience necessary but aquatic life enthusiasts are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities/Duties 

• Work collaboratively with Shipping Managers and teammates to meet the highest standards of animal care
• Properly collecting and handling all aquatic life for ship out
• Properly bagging, clipping and boxing orders
• Quality control of all outgoing shipments 
• Meeting daily deadlines and department goals 
• Maintaining a clean, safe work station
• Practices good judgment in decision-making and communicates efficiently to the Shipping Managers when their involvement is necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements

• High School diploma OR equivalent experience is preferred
• Positive attitude and the ability to communicate in a professional and respectful manner
• Strong observational skills to ensure quality of shipments
• Sound judgment and ability to use common sense for effective decision-making.
• Ability to work well with a team or as an individual

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential

• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and carry minimum of 40 pounds, kneel, bend, crouch, squat, and stand for extended periods of time
• Willingness to perform other duties or assist other departments as needed
• Valid driver's license is a plus
• Bilingual (Spanish) is not required but is a plus 

Compensation
There is tremendous potential for growth and career opportunity within our company. Starting pay depends on experience level and/or applicable qualifications. We also offer medical, dental, vision and retirement plans after you’ve completed your 90 day probation period.
