Acanthaluterus spilomelanura. The Green Filefish is an extremely rare and hardly ever seen filefish. Green Filefish have a mostly green body with brown markings and black spots.
Green Filefish reach a maximum adult size of around 5 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 90 gallons. Green Filefish are semi-aggressive fish and might be aggressive towards other filefish in smaller tanks. Green Filefish might nip at some corals and are not recommended for reef tanks.
