Ptereleotris heteroptera. Occasionally seen in the trade, having blue body with a black spot on the center of the tail. The Blue Gudgeon Dartfish is a stunning all blue dartfish from the Indo-Pacific Ocean. They are an excellent addition to most reef and FOWLR tanks.
Blue Gudgeon Dartfish reach a full grown adult of around 5 inches, and need a tank of around 40 gallons to be happy. The body of the Blue Gudgeon Dartfish are a dark blue which can fade to almost white on their bellies. Blue Gudgeon Dartfish do very well when kept in pairs.
