Xyrichthys sp. The Razor Wrasse is a very unique and interesting wrasse. Razor Wrasses have a mostly tan to brow body with various white markings. As juveniles, Razor Wrasses have a large protrusions coming out of their heads.
Razor Wrasses reach a maximum adult size of around 6 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 150 gallons. Razor Wrasses are semi-aggressive fish and shouldn't bother many other fish or coral in your tank. Razor Wrasses will go after some of your inverts though. This makes adding a Razor Wrasse to a reef tank risky. If you do add a Razor Wrasse to your reef tank, you must proceed with caution.
